It was a partnership of two legal professional (legal counsel and an advocate). It was later converted into a limited partnership (B. Żuradzka Kancelaria Prawna Sp.K.). Since July 2011, the firm has been operating under its present name. Since 2004, we have been a Polish member of the international Association of Independent European Lawyers (www.aiel.com). This London-based organisation was founded in 1991 and currently has a membership of 30 law firms based in Europe and worldwide, all of them employing a few hundred lawyers in total. This allows us to offer a competitively-priced and efficiently-delivered array of legal services, such as company formation and legal and tax advice in the main markets of the EU and outside Europe. Our clients are based in countries such as the United States, India, China (including Hong Kong), South Korea, Japan and Canada.
Currently, the firm has three partners (advocates and a foreign lawyer), but the entire team is made up of more than 20 professionals, including a licensed tax advisor, advocates and law trainees, plus a few foreign lawyers working with us from their offices in Prague and Bratislava.
In 2007-2009, we had our own office in Dublin, Ireland, trading under the name KMB Stuglik Solicitors, cooperation with KMB Solicitors, an Irish law firm founded in 1926. In 2010-2015, we operated an office in Larnaca, Cyprus, cooperation with the law firm Antonis Andreou&Co.
We speak English, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Korean. Whenever our clients require, we can expand our team to use the assistance of independent legal professionals and office staff.
Since 2004, we have a member of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, Poland. We also cooperate with the Slovakian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Žilina.
Our lawyers combine the practice of law with the theory of law. In addition to advising clients, they engage in research work and work as academic teachers and course trainers. They write for publication, work as trainers in EU projects, including pre-accession projects as part of the Phare programme. Some of us work as managers for or sit on the boards of Polish and foreign companies, thus gaining practical experience in finance and management. If you choose to talk to one of us, you will talk not only to an experienced lawyer, but also a manager knowledgeable about managing business operations in sectors such as clothes manufacturing and distribution, the meat industry, power engineering, environment protection, FMCG chains, high-tech start-ups or the food service sector.
As a team, we deliver legal services to large, medium-sized and small Polish enterprises as well as foreign clients developing their operations in Poland, the EU and neighbouring countries, with a focus on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hong Kong and Korea.
We are one of the few law firms in Poland to offer tax planning /offshoring services, which have been doing successfully in Poland and internationally.
