Terms & Conditions of Business:
Our services are provided on the basis of our T&Cs, the generally applicable laws and regulations, as well as regulations applicable specifically to the legal professions of legal counsel and advocate in Poland. By hiring us to work for you, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the Terms & Conditions.
Professional indemnity insurance:
The rates we are charge for our work depend on the type and nature of the matter, and on the amount of work it is requires from the lawyers assigned to it. Our pricing policy is to deliver services to the satisfaction of our clients at a reasonable cost. Given the variety of matters and legal problems we are asked to work on, we offer a few pricing options to choose from:
- a fixed price with a limited number of working hours,
- a fixed price,
- hourly rates, and
- a success fee pricing option.
For the services of company formation and sale, we charge standard rates regardless of the jurisdiction.
A fixed price with a limited number of working hours
If you are interested in becoming our regulation client, you may consider our pricing option that is based on a fixed price and a limited number of legal work hours. Monthly limits range from 20 to 120 hours. An hourly rate applies for each hour in excess of the agreed limit. Only the actual hours spent by our lawyers to deal with your matter are counted. In this pricing option, the focus is on us dealing with your matter rather than on how much time is spent on our work. We can tell from our experience that our work for small and medium-sized business clients requires between 20 and 80 hours a month.
A fixed price
If you so require, we can quote you a fixed amount for our dealing with a particular matter for you, such as court litigation or company registration formalities. This may be the option for you if you need to know the cost of our work for you in advance. An advantage of this model is that you will be provided with the assistance of one of our lawyers throughout the process, regardless of how much time is taken to deal with your matter. This option is the cheapest one for long-term relationships with our clients. If you ask us to litigate for your or defend you in a court case, we will charge you according to the applicable rates for advocates and legal counsels.
An hourly rate is calculated for each lawyer in our firm. If you choose the hourly rate pricing option, you will pay only for the time your lawyer has actually spent on your matter. If you have no work for us, you will not be required to pay any fixed fees. If you so require, we will provide you a detailed statement of the hours work for, together with our invoice. This pricing option will be a good choice for you only if you hire us occasionally. For example, you may require a legal opinion or a tax strategy. If you are considering a long-term relationship, you may benefit from our fixed-price pricing option or a fixed price with a limited number of working hours.
A success fee pricing option
In some cases, particularly court litigation, we may offer you a quotation with a success fee as its major component. The total cost of our work will then depend on the outcome of the litigation or other work for you.
An important part of our work policy is to assign one of the firm’s partners to each client. On a daily basis, a dedicated lawyer/expert will work on your matter(s). For more complicated matters, we will set up a team of people to work for you.
