dr Chang Il You

Chang Il You (Karol) is a PhD candidate in the discipline of linguistics, a polonist working on linguistic politeness in Polish and Korean. Since the 2017/2018 academic year, he has had an employment relationship with the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he holds the position of Assistant Professor. Currently, in addition to his work for the KBZ, he works with the Institute of Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia. She conducts research on communication between Polish and Korean culture and their adaptation in the business sphere.

He is the only official guide for Koreans at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.

Karol is also the consular assistant for Upper Silesia at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Warsaw.
